Clarinetist and singer Anja Præst and accordionist Jesper Vinther have thrilled audiences for more than 30 years with their virtuoso playing, infectious joy of playing and unique interplay. The duo’s repertoire is broad and includes both their own compositions and songs, inspired by Danish fiddler melodies, songs and klezmer, as well as traditional melodies from the regions where the musicians themselves come from. Along the way, they share stories about the origins of the music, anecdotes from life on the road and stories about the fiddlers who have kept traditional music alive through generations.

Præst Vinther Duo manages to unite the virtuoso with the folk – the concert is both a listening experience and an opportunity to sing along and feel the music up close. A concert with Præst Vinther Duo is a moving and life-affirming experience, where folk music fills the room and puts a smile on your face.

Following or in connection with the concert, the duo can play for dancing. It can be both group dances in a circle or couple dances as needed. The concert is very suitable for churches, music clubs, colleges, small venues etc.
